About

How I got started

I discovered graphic design while working at an on-campus art gallery during my undergraduate studies. With no formal training at the time, I was responsible for creating exhibition materials and gallery communications, an early lesson in how design shapes perception and context.

That experience led me to pursue an MFA in Graphic Design. Over the past 18+ years, I’ve built brand systems, shaped visual narratives, and translated ideas into experiences across both physical and digital environments.

I’m drawn to work that bridges strategy and craft, defining direction, building cohesive systems, and extending them into the real world with clarity and intention.

What I do

My path has taken me through agencies, in-house creative teams, and independent consulting, working across branding, design systems, marketing & advertising, packaging, environments, art direction and visual communication.

My work involves hands-on creative leadership—bringing the right people together, collaborating across disciplines, and guiding projects from strategy through execution while protecting quality and alignment throughout the process.

I’m fluent in both digital systems and physical production, from screen-based experiences to print processes, materials, finishes, and fabrication. I bring a sharp sensitivity to color, how it shapes perception and carries meaning, and the ability to discern, refine, and translate it across digital and physical contexts.

Alongside my career, I co-founded a letterpress studio focused on producing specialty print for individuals, small businesses, and the creative community. This experience grounded my approach in craft and the joy of translating ideas into tactile reality.

While my primary focus is creative direction and brand identity systems, I also contribute through photography art direction, naming, illustration, and copywriting.

Outside of work

I’m curious about people, their stories, and the ways they see the world. Exposure to cultures and perspectives matters to me. I also enjoy traveling to different corners of the world and chasing light with my photography. Time spent in new environments continues to shape how I think and create.
